About
Truth be told when I first started learning about fashion I had no idea what sustainability was. I would often hear my classmates talk about it all the time and to avoid embarrassment I would nod along as if I had any idea what they were saying.
As I went through the fashion program I started to learn more about sustainability and found out about 85% of textile waste is thrown into landfills every year. I thought how crazy was it that I had been sewing for over 5 years yet I was just now learning about sustainability. I found it even crazier that my classmates would judge and be little others for their lack of knowledge on sustainability.
That's what sparked the idea of Angel's Designs. I wanted to create a brand that sparked the conversation on sustainability. Giving customers a comfortable space to learn and grow. At Angel's designs we only use Eco-friendly or Deadstock fabric. Helping to spark the conversation on the different types of fabric that are good for both their environment and the kids. Or how that old t-shirt can be turn into something new.
While it might be controversial, Angel's Designs doesn't push people to have sustainable life but to live a life with sustainable choices.
